Nortwest College is the proud sponsor of the 2013 PORTLAND FASHION WEEK!

As previously mentioned, Northwest College is very excited about fashion and anything fashion related and we have big news!

We sent local fashionista and co-owner of Portland Fashion Week, Jassica Kane, to London's Fashion Week and as part of that collaboration, we are proud to announce that we will be one of the presenting sponsors of the 2013 Portland Fashion Week!

The event takes place from September 25th through September 29th, and we will be there to take it all in and we hope to see lots of our fellow fashion-savvy people there.

Sponsoring Jessica Kane's trip to British Plus Size Fashion Weekend

As most of you hopefully know, Northwest College is very excited about local fashion and fashion events.
Last year we were fortunate enough to send our students to several fashion shows, where they worked on the runway models doing hair and make-up as part of our NW College Premier Styling Team. Our students also got to assist backstage at the Portland Fashion & Style Awards and luckily we will be able to do so again this year! We will have more information about that later, so stay tuned.

As part of these events, we met Tod Foulk and we are so happy to have built a great relationship with him. Tod is an amazing guy and the co-founder of Portland Fashion Week (among many other things!), where he has 2 incredible associates; Sarabeth Chambers and Jessica Kane.

Northwest College Does The Right Thing

A while ago, we were contacted by Lifetime TV to sponsor an episode of the show "Teen Trouble".

The episode is about 16-year old Asmara from Eugene and after hearing her story, we are proud to be providing her with a scholarship to our Eugene campus when she graduates high school!

The latest we've heard, Asmara is doing great and has been sober for a while, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that she will be joining our beauty school soon. We look forward to providing her with the training to become a successful cosmetologist and have a career in the beauty industry.

2013 will be a GREAT year at Northwest College!

As you can see, we had a little break in updating our website but we hope to keep our clients, students, instructors, employees and alumni updated from here on out. Please tell your friends, family and fellow NW College students to go like our Facebook page!
