Nail Technology: 600 hours

Learn how to perform manicures, pedicures, and artificial nail applications such as: acrylic, gel, fiberglass and silk wraps. Have the opportunity to create and use nail art as well as enhancement services to maximize earning potential. The nail technology course of study contains units of instructions in nail technology, safety and sanitation, and career development. Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate will be eligible to apply for the Oregon Board of Barbers and Hairdresser's examination for an Oregon license in nail technology. A license in Nail Technology allows you to work in such areas as a nail tech, nail artistry, manicuring, education, training, retail sales, platform work, salon management, shop ownership or corporate management.
