In order to enroll in our barbering course, you need to be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Barbering classes are offered in the Portland metro area at our Beaverton and Clackamas locations, as well as in southern Oregon at our Medford and Springfield locations.
This course requires 946 clock hours. The course can be completed at a rate of 25 hours per week or 30 hours per week and takes approximately 8-10 months to complete. Our courses exceed the state of Oregon’s required training hours for barbering licenses.
In order to pass our barbering course, students must attend all learning modules and complete the program’s required clock hours. Additionally, students will need to pass both written and practical examinations, academic courses, labs, and state safety and sanitation requirements.
