In order to enroll in our barbering course, you need to be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Where are your barbering classes located?
Barbering classes are offered in the Portland metro area at our Beaverton and Clackamas locations, as well as in southern Oregon at our Medford and Springfield locations.
How long does it take to complete this barbering program?
This course requires 946 clock hours. The course can be completed at a rate of 25 hours per week or 30 hours per week and takes approximately 8-10 months to complete. Our courses exceed the state of Oregon’s required training hours for barbering licenses.
What are the graduation requirements for this program?
In order to pass our barbering course, students must attend all learning modules and complete the program’s required clock hours. Additionally, students will need to pass both written and practical examinations, academic courses, labs, and state safety and sanitation requirements.
Effective December 9th, 2023: We will no longer be offering salon services or student enrollments at our Hillsboro location. You can still receive the same great services and education at our nearby Beaverton campus!
