Prepare for Your Beauty Education
Are you looking for training in Hair Design, Nail Technology, Esthetics, Barbering, or another beauty field? Northwest College School of Beauty offers an education in all things beauty, so you can gain the skills you need to launch your future in the beauty industry. You can start your beauty school journey by calling one of our admissions representatives. They’ll schedule a time for you to tour the campus of your choice, tell you more about our programs, and help you start the enrollment process.
The Beauty School Admissions Process
To enroll as a student at Northwest College School of Beauty, you first need to meet with one of our admissions representatives. This is an opportunity to get a complete understanding of the beauty industry and the expectations of our school so you can decide if this is a career path that excites you! Your admissions representative will give you a campus tour and provide information on your preferred program. They’ll also go over pricing and financial aid information, as needed.
Enrollment will take place after your campus tour. To complete the enrollment process, you will need the following items:
- Proof of high school completion is its equivalent (such as a GED)
- Driver’s license or other state-issued ID (or other proof of age, such as a birth certificate)
- Alien registration card, if applicable
- Social security card
To complete enrollment, you must submit an Enrollment Agreement (provided by your admissions representative) and pay a registration fee. Once your admissions representative has all the required items, they will compile all your documents to complete the full admissions packet. You can read more in our student catalog!

We enroll new students throughout the year! Our friendly admissions team is here to answer your questions and guide you through this process so you can start your courses as soon as possible. Call us now to schedule your admissions appointment.

Explore Your Financial Aid Options
Financial aid is available to those who qualify! We participate in federal aid programs through the U.S. Department of Education. Federal Student Aid can assist eligible students with grants and low-interest loans. Students seeking financial aid should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). You can complete this application for free online at the FAFSA® website. Bring proof that you’ve completed the online application to your campus tour for review by our financial team.

Beauty School Enrollment FAQs
Yes, financial aid is available to those who qualify. We recommend that all prospective students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). This will help you determine your eligibility for federal grants and low-interest loans.
Don’t let cost be a barrier to your education! Our financial aid team can go over all of your options with you.
A campus tour is the first step in the enrollment process, and it’s an important one! The campus tour is your chance to learn more about the school, program expectations, and if this is the right path for you. It’s also when you’ll meet your admissions representative, who will guide you through enrollment.
That’s okay! Our admissions representatives can help you identify the best course based on your interests and future career goals. We have many great options for various student interests and goals, including combination courses that can lead to licensure for cosmetology.
Your previous training may count towards your education at Northwest College School of Beauty! If you want to submit credits from another school, you must have your former school send your official transcript to us. The transcript must reflect your total training time. It will then be up to our enrollment team to evaluate and determine how many hours are eligible for transfer.
Classes start throughout the year! We often have new courses starting each month. Your admissions representative can inform you about available start dates and help you choose the best option.
