The serene community of Clackamas is nestled among lush green forests and sparkling blue lakes. It feels a world apart from the bustling energy of Portland, but it’s only a short drive away! Clackamas is a wonderful place for one of our beauty college campuses. The campus is on Monterey Avenue and one block east of 82nd Avenue. That’s near Clackamas Town Center, a hub of activity with its many shopping and dining destinations.

Cosmetology
Dive deep into the world of beauty and master the art of transforming looks. This program covers hairstyling, skincare, nail art, and so much more!
Hair Design
Learn the techniques to style, cut, and color with precision and creativity. If your passion lies in hairstyling and color, this specialized program could be a great fit for you.
Barbering
Master the art of men's grooming, from classic cuts to modern styles. Traditionally, a barbering program focuses on short hair styles, so you can create stunning shaves.
Esthetics
Enhance beauty by understanding skin care, treatments, and makeup techniques. Facials, waxing, and makeup are all things you can learn in this program.
Nail Technology
From manicures to intricate nail art, become an expert in nail care. If you love painting the small details, you may love a future as a nail technician.
Teacher Training
Empower the next generation by becoming a certified instructor. This program is only available to those already licensed in the beauty industry.
Eyelash Certification
Master the art of eyelash extensions and transformations. This short program is a great way to add additional services to your book.
Come Explore Our Clackamas Beauty School Campus
Our beauty college has expanded to six locations across Oregon, but Clackamas is one of the originals! The location has over 8,000 square feet of educational space for students to learn skills in hair design, nail technology, esthetics, and much more. And while it may be one of our original locations, we’ve ensured it’s been modernized and stayed up-to-date for the needs of today’s beauty students. That includes installing our library’s computerized testing center, which can help prepare students for state board exams.
Along with three classrooms, our modern facility has plenty of space for students to get hands-on, real-world experience in a simulated salon environment. Students have an opportunity to work with real clients while under the supervision of licensed instructors. There are 56 hair stations for hair design and barbering students. Our nail tech students can treat clients to a whirlpool pedicure chair or four state-of-the-art nail stations. Students can provide services from two esthetics rooms equipped for facial treatments, waxing, and microdermabrasion. Everything is designed to give our clients an authentic salon and spa experience and our students a supportive learning environment.
We actively advertise our student salon within the local community. This brings guests into our salon for services, providing more opportunities for students to practice their skills. Visiting clients can enjoy great prices, excellent services, and plenty of free parking. This is how we make the hands-on experience an integral part of our curriculum.

Clackamas Beauty School FAQs
Clackamas feels like a rural oasis in the busy Portland area! Only about 17,000 people live here, so it retains that small-town charm. You’ll enjoy many lush forests and gorgeous mountain views while exploring Clackamas Town Center. This shopping mall has excellent stores and restaurants and is a popular place for students to gather for breaks or after class. If you want to enjoy the great outdoors, head to Mount Talbert Nature Park or Mount Scott Park.
Our Clackamas beauty school campus is just a quick walk away from the popular Clackamas Town Center shopping mall. You can visit the mall to enjoy lunch at one of the popular restaurants or shop after class. Our campus is off SE Monterey Avenue, beautifully landscaped, and surrounded by plenty of free parking. We have a great group of instructors here who genuinely love the beauty industry and are eager to help students on their journey.
Our Clackamas campus offers Hair Design, Nail Technology, Esthetics, Barbering, and Teacher Training. We also offer a comprehensive esthetics course combining Hair Design, Nail Tech, and Esthetics. We recommend this course to anyone who wants the most flexibility in a future beauty career. If you aren’t sure which course is right for you, speak with a member of our admissions team. They can help match you to the course that best suits your goals and interests.
We have a comprehensive list of salon and spa services available! Our services are provided by our students under the supervision of licensed instructors. Working on clients allows students to practice their techniques while building their customer service skills. If you’d like to become a client, give us a call.
