Cool Blondes…are they hard to achieve?

Cool shades of blonde are showing up everywhere. With the popular pastel shades, muted versions on the super light blondes look fabulous.

Achieving these cool blonde shades is now possible where it might not have been before, thanks to new product technology.
Several of the Haircolor companies have created these super lighteners that help achieve this look. Also the addition of some of the supplemental smoothing treatments that force Keratin protein into the hair, helping to give hair more integrity when pushing the limits with color.

Olaplex claims to be “insurance for your client’s hair”. I have used it on myself as well as on clients in the salon, I have to say… I think they are living up to that. Olaplex hired two of the world’s leading PHD’s in Materials and Chemistry that had never worked on hair products before, Dr. Eric Pressly and Dr. Craig Hawker. They invented a single ingredient chemistry, that is free of silicone or oils, that links broken bonds in the hair during and after chemical services making them stronger than they were before.
